HOW I WORK
Unhurried, from the first conversation.
A clear process, built around mutual fit, discretion and clinical precision
A CANDID AND TRUSTING PARTNERSHIP
This work is neither passive listening nor performative reassurance. It is a focused search for the underlying drivers of your situation.
Especially the truths that are uncomfortable to face.
Where responsibility, status or survival demand a seamless exterior, what happens inside can go unresolved. I aim to be a warm but searching and honest mirror. I won’t skirt around the difficulties, pathologise your drive, or settle for comfortable narratives. Together we look directly at the roots of conflict, distress and behaviour, so you can operate from genuine ground.
Facing difficult truths
The most useful work often happens at the edge of discomfort. We will first ensure our space feels supportive and trusting. We will then work to name the unspoken realities, contradictions and unresolved history behind your current challenges and deal with them directly.
Candour, with safety
A direct, grounded dialogue that respects your intelligence. Difficult insights are offered with care and clinical containment. We will work together to create a space you feel able to bring whatever you need to.
Discretion
Complete confidentiality for people whose personal and professional lives cannot tolerate exposure. My consulting rooms are discreet, quiet and accessible.
Depth and precision
Doctoral-level clinical understanding, integration of the latest research evidence and trauma science, alongside close attention to the existential, relational and cultural pressures shaping your life.
Enquiry
You get in touch with me through the contact form or by email. A few lines is enough. Everything you share is held in confidence from the start.
First conversation
I arrange a short introductory call. You can say as much or as little as you like, and ask anything you would like to know. We can begin to consider costs, timescales and meeting format. There is no commitment.
Finding fit
Together we consider whether this is the right place for you. If someone else would serve you better, I will say so and help you find them. I do not accept incentives for onward referrals.
Detailed consultation
If we continue, we meet for a 50 minute initial session to understand what is happening for you and what you would like to change. We explore the options, costs and what the work might involve, with time for your questions.
Ongoing work
Our sessions settle into a rhythm that suits you, in person in London (and surrounding areas) or by secure video. We make time to consider how the work is going and whether anything needs to change.
Ending
We plan endings carefully, with time to reflect on the work and consider any next steps. Whether our work is brief or longer-term, I aim to make the ending and any transition clear.

Clarity from the start.
Privacy
My consulting rooms are discreet and accessible. I never share your details without your consent, except where safeguarding law requires it. I will clearly outline my confidentially, safeguarding and risk protocol with you at the outset.
Clarity
I discuss fees clearly at the outset and explain cancellation arrangements before we begin. I do not accept incentives for referrals.
Practicalities
Sessions are usually 50 minutes, in person in London or by secure video. We agree a rhythm that works for you.
